Website management

I have been managing websites for several years now- updating them regularly with new information, products and images. All of the websites I have managed have either run off WordPress or Squarespace, making them quick and easy to update weekly. Researching on Google and YouTube on how to use these website platforms, change specific parts of them or add unique features has been a massive key learning process for me.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I was asked to design a brand and website to sell PPE products, aimed at workplaces and the general public. I chose to do this through Squarespace as the customisation is very versatile and the purchasing options are very clear and easy.

As I was inexperienced with Squarespace, it was a case of trial and error until the websites structure was made. From there, I was able to make the website its own with imagery and pages.

Unfortunately due to delays getting pricing for products, management at my workplace felt like they missed the window for selling PPE.

During the pandemic, I was also asked to create brand and website named One Protection, that would give information about some of the PPE products that was being sold by Will International.

The website attracts a few hundred visitors a month, and has a few branded products available including hand sanitizer, health bands and a antibacterial sanitizer system that has bespoke packaging.

One Protection was a 3 week project, which I worked on alone while other staff members were furloughed.

At Will International, I have been managing the website for almost 6 years now, constantly updating it with new products, images and information.

The website currently runs on WordPress and is viewed by hundreds of customers throughout the week.

I’ve worked closely with outsourced website developers over the years to improve how the website runs, whilst also adding new features to enhance the user experience.
