Product Industrial Printing

Learning the process of printing wasn’t something I was expecting to do, but was a huge learning curve for me. It taught me a lot about scaling, composition, colours, details and so much more. After just one day of learning about the first printer, I was keen to learn more and give it my everything. The printer was installed at my work place to print anything- bottles, powerbanks, metal cards, controllers and more.

Setting up the artwork was my main task, and is something I have been doing daily since. Using Illustrator, I would need to scale the product we are printing and then position the artwork according to the visual so it prints correctly on the product. Trial and error was a huge part of learning the process of printing, and is something I think is important when learning a new skill, as it allows you to learn from the mistakes.
