Throughout my career as a graphic designer, branding has always been a massive interest of mine- logo design, business cards, flyers, website layouts, brand guidelines, marketing- anything to do with making a brands presence bigger and better. At Will International, I had the opportunity to create concept product mock-ups for big brands- creating imagery and presentations to secure orders alongside the sales teams.

At Will International, I work with countless different brands throughout the day to visualise the product they want printed with their logo. I would intently scroll through brand guidelines to see what colours to use and how much clear spacing a logo needs around it. Although we’re not directly in contact with these big brands, it’s still great to produce mockups for brands like Microsoft, Apple Music, McDonalds and many more.

Every designer has experience creating business cards- whether they’re simplistic or not, they give a great insight into how a designer works. From the cards composition to the colour palette- I always try to make a professional, clear and unique design. I’ve had my fair share of business card designs, and love when I get the opportunity to create more.

Packaging DESIGN

Designing packaging for a product can be a detailed process- making sure regulations are met, dimensions are accurate and the right information is included are just three of the key points I try to keep in mind when designing packaging. Creating unique designs that subtly stand out is always my goal- using colour palettes, composition and scaling to achieve an eye-catching finish with features including front flaps, windows or sleeves.
